Chicago native Nicole Edinburg is an artist and educator who loves curating community and expressing emotion through her work. Using her mixture of Jamaican heritage and love of Black culture, Nicole infuses her work with rhythms and influences from her diverse lineage to connect to people from backgrounds both domestic and international. With a BA in Communication and Visual Arts, RYT 200 certification as a yoga instructor, and over 9 years of teaching experience, Nicole prides herself on blending her learning and experiences to cultivate unique classes and workshops for others.
An avid believer of the connections between various forms of art and expression, Nicole regularly works to find the through-lines between visual art, music, and movement to help others reclaim and discover pieces of themselves. Through painting, yoga, and community-based events, Nicole uses her diverse background and interests to create experiences that allow others to tap in to those spaces that many others don’t talk about.
